Cleverti was recently awarded as Leader SME (PME Líder) for the fourth time, a distinction that corroborates once more Cleverti’s sustained growth strategy and performance quality.
Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are at the forefront of the Portuguese business scene, driving the economy with an overwhelming 99,9% representation. According to 2016 statistics, the number of SMEs in Portugal reached 1.213.107 and they were responsible for employing 4 out of 5 workers. A small percentage of companies in this vast universe is Leader SME.
The Leader SME statute distinguishes a set of Portuguese SMEs each year, rewarding their superior performance and contribution to the development of the national economy. It is awarded by IAPMEI (the Portuguese State Agency for Competitiveness and Innovation), together with several partner Banks and Mutual Guarantee Societies, and Turismo de Portugal (the National Tourist Authority, based on the best credit ratings and financial indicators.

Being Leader SME 2018 is the result of a collective effort developed every day by our team, our clients, our partners and other stakeholders. Although this is not a debut for Cleverti, which was previously Leader SME and Excellence SME for several times, we take pride in this new award and it compels us to become better each time.
