Great news! Cleverti was awarded as Leader SME (PME Líder), an award that distinguishes the best small-medium-sized companies in Portugal for their strategy of sustainable development and performance.
Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) represent the overwhelming majority of the Portuguese business scene. According to a 2019 European Union report about the behavior of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in 2018 and 2019, Portuguese SMEs played an extremely important role in the country’s recovery after the financial crisis. It is, therefore, emphasized the level of added value, which between 2014 and 2018 increased by 27% and is above pre-crisis values. The Leader SME statute distinguishes a set of Portuguese SME each year, rewarding their superior performance and contribution to the development of national economy. It is conferred by IAPMEI (the Portuguese State Agency for Competitiveness and Innovation), together with several partners, Banks and Mutual Guarantee Societies, and Turismo de Portugal (the National Tourist Authority), based on the best credit ratings and financial indicators.

Being a SME Leader 2020, especially at this time, is a reason for tremendous satisfaction for all Cleverti employees. Although this is not a debut for Cleverti (which was previously Leader SME and Excellence SME several times), this recent award puts us on the path of success and, in addition, compels us the responsibility to be better every day.
